Palm Springs was once the ancestral home of the Cahuilla Indians and the town pulses with their presence today. The town is also a well-known celebrity hideaway and is home to the Spa Resort Casino and Indian Canyons. This city has a rich history and a diverse culture. This makes Palm Springs an attractive destination for tourists and residents alike.
The city is home to many interesting attractions, including the Palm Springs Art Museum. This museum showcases works from early 20th century artists as well as contemporary artists. The museum also features natural science collections, sculptures, and glass art. It also hosts live performances. There is also an Annenberg Theater, which hosts concerts, plays, and other cultural events.
Palm Springs is also home to the Volkswagen Spider Sculpture. The town was also home to Lucille Desiree Ball, an award-winning actress who once lived in the city with Desi Arnaz. The town has a unique connection to American television history. The movie “I Love Lucy” starred Lucille Ball.
Palm Springs has a free trolley system that runs throughout the day, stopping at all the major sights in town. You can also ride the trolley to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, where music festivals take place every summer. You can also stay at one of the many RV parks in the city, including Desert Hot Springs and Thousand Trails.
