Random Facts About Palm Springs

While visiting Palm Springs, be sure to check out the many attractions. For example, you can spend an evening at the Purple Room, where the Rat Pack used to perform. You’ll find black and white photos of Elvis and Dean Martin on the walls, as well as good live music and food. And don’t miss the city’s famous windmills.

The city is also home to several museums. The Palm Springs Walk of Stars honors famous people who have made Palm Springs their home. The honorees include former U.S. presidents, artists, authors, actors, and other notables. It’s worth checking out the star-studded Walk of Fame to get an idea of the city’s cultural diversity.

The city is also home to the famous Saguaro Hotel. Elvis Presley, a former rock star, once lived in Palm Springs with his wife Priscilla. Their former home is now being restored, and you can visit Elvis’s honeymoon hideaway. You can even see cutouts of him on the house’s exterior.

Another popular statue is that of the actress, Lucille Ball. She received several awards during her lifetime and posthumously. Despite the controversy surrounding her statue, the statue is a beautiful reminder of her contribution to the arts.
