If you’re looking for a great way to spend a day in the desert, you can’t beat visiting Palm Springs. It’s home to many unique attractions, including the Palm Springs General Store Museum, which captures the spirit of the 1930s general store by displaying thousands of nostalgic items, such as primitive tools and lunchboxes. You can also visit the Palm Springs Air Museum, which has interactive exhibits and displays about World War II. These museums are often featured in films about the war.

Several microbreweries have sprung up in the area, which means you can sample local brews while enjoying a tour and tasting menu. You can also enjoy a hearty breakfast every morning at Elmer’s Café, which also serves traditional American fare. In the evening, head to Elmer’s Café for live music and classic American fare. You won’t be disappointed! Once you’re done relaxing in the hot springs, you’ll be able to relax in one of Palm Springs’ most popular restaurants.

While you’re here, don’t forget to visit the Palm Springs Visitors Center. This building is an excellent example of desert modernism architecture, and it’s the perfect place to find out about the city’s sights and activities. This historic building was once a Tramway gas station, but was preserved as the Palm Springs Visitors Center in the 1990s. You can learn all about the city’s attractions and sightseeing opportunities from the center’s friendly staff.
