Random Facts About Palm Springs

Located just outside of downtown Palm Springs, California, the Annenberg Gardens offer a peaceful setting to rest and unwind after a busy day. The Visitor Center contains information about the Annenberg family’s efforts to promote world peace. Visitors can also view the massive Cabazon Dinosaurs. Known for their size and impressive construction, these giant dinos are made of steel and concrete. Designed by Claude K. Bell, these dinosaurs are 46 meters long and 20 meters tall and the biggest of their kind in the world.

There are many museums in Palm Springs, including the Desert Botanical Garden, where you can see over 3,000 different species of plants from around the world. You can even reserve a space for a special event or group tour. Visiting the museum year-round will allow you to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the city in an entirely different way. You can also try different types of cuisine, including Mediterranean, Mexican, and Italian dishes. All are great places to spend an afternoon.

While you are here, you can visit the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, where you can learn more about the area’s wildlife and conservation efforts. There are over 400 honorees on the Walk of Stars, including political leaders, humanitarians, artists, musicians, playwrights, and civic leaders. If you’d prefer to see palm trees up close, you can ride a horse, or take a guided tour. Visiting the Living Desert Zoo is also a great way to explore the city’s history and culture.
